Trifolium Pratense
Properties:
- Tonic
- Expectorant
- Antispasmodic
- Phytoestrogens
Traditional Uses:
- Effective remedy for children with skin problems, including childhood eczema and chronic skin conditions such as psoriasis
- Useful for treating coughs, bronchitis, and whooping cough
- Isoflavones present in Trifolium Pratense may alleviate symptoms associated with menopause by mimicking the action of female hormones in the body
- Purifies the blood and may help with acne
Directions for Use:
- Infusion: Pour 1 cup of boiling water onto 1-3 teaspoons of herb. Allow to infuse for 10-15 minutes. Strain and drink three times per day.
Safety Precautions:
- Avoid use during pregnancy or lactation
- Consult with a medical practitioner before use
- Safe for use in children
- May potentiate the effects of anticoagulant drugs
