Benefits and Uses
Butterbur Root has been traditionally used for various health concerns:
- Fever and Respiratory Issues: Helps with fevers, shortness of breath, and promotes perspiration.
- Pain and Inflammation: Effective for headaches and inflammation.
- Seasonal Allergies: Relieves symptoms of itchy eyes, itchy and runny nose, and nasal congestion.

How to Use
Decoction: Place 1-2 teaspoons of Butterbur Root in 500ml of water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Strain and drink three times per day.
Safety Precautions
- Do not use for longer than 4-6 weeks consecutively.
- Avoid use if you have liver or kidney problems.
- Potential side effects include indigestion, vomiting, headaches, and abdominal pain.
